hi pts, colourful sky and the silhouetted trees, what a combination!why dont you share some tips about sunset snaps? and abt my absence-some kinda stagnation of thoughts, numbness or may be,plain laziness which keeps me away from my blog.i deleted the detour snap coz that was my state of mind at that time, and i didnt want to bring such personal thoughts in to the blog.
aaah, quin!when i started typing this, there were no comments on this snap.i was so glad that i was the first one to comment.by the time i finished,i see quin's comment:-( how come?
Unfortunately Tom is on bed rest today and for the first time you are stuck with me. I have my orders to visit as many as I can, and make sure the links are working and everyone is being good. I am sure you are all being good. Tom and I thank you for Sky-Watching this week. I am sure that as soon as Tom's heart beat settles down he will be back here and visiting.
Thanks for your visit to my SkyWatch Friday post, PT.
I'm on the road and in the field doing another photo trip chasing the bloom of our Rosebay Rhododendron (white blossoms) in the northern area of the Southern Appalachian mountains, and with lodging that does not have the most reliable internet service. I won't be home again for a few more days yet, but I did finally develop and upload a few images to update my July 7 Rhododendron post.
Sunrise this morning was a washout, literally, with locally heavy thunderstorms--looks like the rain won't ease up until later morning so I'm going to breakfast soon. But I wanted to try and get around to all who visited my SWF, and others too while I still have good internet access. So, please forgive this cut & paste with a small bit of personalization added--I do appreciate your visit and your comments.
You manage to capture the most stunning skies! I am in awe, sir. Very nice photos.
Wow! I caught my breath when I saw this. The whole thing is a masterpiece. The trees are in just the right spot. The hill at just the right angle. The colors. Absolutely fabulous!
